At this captivating location photograph in black and white, understand about lens selection, use lighting to enhance your composition and photographic techniques.
Elevate your landscape photography with ND Grads to darken skies or use slow shutters for a blurred water effect. Finish these learning a few rudimentary tips for photographing wildlife and birds.
Areas Covered: ISO, white balance, black & white, apertures, shallow depth of field, natural lighting and shadows.
Walking distance: 500m, hilly around the cemetery.
Equipment: DSLR, Compact System, Micro Four Thirds, Compact and Bridge Cameras are suitable. Standard zoom lens and if you have one a telephoto would be useful. If you are not sure about your lenses please check with us.

Provisions: You will need to provide your own food on the training day as MelenTraining does not offer this facility. When we are on location there will be a break for lunch near cafes and restaurants and you are more than welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
Cancellation Policy: Costs are incurred when we run our training courses and for this reason we are unable to offer any refund in the event of your non-attendance on the day of the course that you have purchased. This is irrespective of your circumstances or reasons. If we receive notice one month before the date of your course that you unable to attend and we are able to fill your place then we will issue a credit note for an alternative course. If you are unable to attend with twelve months of the course date we will issue no further credit notes.
We reserve the right to remove, cancel or alter the date of any of our training courses, we will inform you of alternative dates and depending on the circumstances of the cancellation issue a full refund or credit note for a similar course. If the course is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions we will offer another date for the course, 1:1 training session or a credit note for a similar course.
Vouchers: All vouchers must be used with in 12 months of the date of purchase. Vouchers can be used as part or full payment of a course or 1:1 session.
Liability: Although every care will be provided by YellowMelen (MelenTraining) and Philip Richardson, no responsibility will be accepted for any indirect loss or damage caused to your equipment. As the client you will need adequate insurance against the loss or damage of your equipment.
