Learn to edit like a pro with FCPX. There are many options online when you are new to editing and looking for advice, a 1:1 allows you to ask questions, clarifying certain points.
Final Cut Pro is a complex piece of software designed to do complex adjustments. You can get so much from it with a good basic understanding and organisation of files, which then allows you to be very creative and play with FCPX.

Final Cut Pro X requires a Mac with macOS 10.14.6 or later, 4GB of RAM (8GB for 4K editing), OpenCL-capable GPU graphics card and 1GB of VRAM for 4K editing.

You can download and use a free version Final Cut Pro for 90 days.
For your 1:1 session it would be beneficial to use video files from a project that you are working on, once finished you'll have a video that you can use.
